Well, I didn’t manage to get something posted yesterday so my streak has ended.  But it was a really good day yesterday.  I had a rare day off in the middle of the week and we filled it will all the things we had intended to do on Sunday but didn’t.  I played tennis with friends in the morning.  I had time to fill the car with gas and grab a spicy chai from my favorite coffee shop before meeting my husband and two of my son’s friends for 9 holes of golf.  We had a great time playing against each other – a buck a hole – and catching up on their first year of post high school.  I walked the dog down to my favorite gift shop to get a birthday card for a friend and found a nice set of outdoor candles for her that will look perfect on her back patio.

We left for Denver around 5 and couldn’t believe that we didn’t get stuck in traffic.  It was a stress free drive to meet a friend at a new vegan restaurant.  We hadn’t seen each other in months so we had plenty to catch up on over great vegan food.  We had to end it earlier that we wanted as we had tickets to see Kinky Boots at 7:30 – our attempt at restructuring our empty next lifestyle.  It was a fun show, great singing and dancing, and we were home by 10:30.

It was a full, full day that did not have time for writing.  And I am okay with that.
